In rural Uttar Pradesh and the slums of nearby towns, life is tough. Families survive on meager incomes from street vending, shop work, or labor in brick factories. Children often join these jobs from an early age, sacrificing education for survival. Many parents, struggling with poverty, cannot imagine a different future for their kids – especially for girls. The result? Generations trapped in the same cycle of hardship.
We are committed to breaking this cycle. Our goal is to build strong educational foundations in rural areas, guiding children toward competitive schools like Navodaya, Sainik, and Vidyagyan – institutions that open doors to affordable higher education. We work tirelessly to inspire families, showing them the value of learning and the dreams it can unlock. Education is not just a privilege; it is a bridge to dignity, opportunity, and hope.
Awareness is low, resources are scarce, and gender bias persists. Many families prioritize boys’ schooling while denying girls the same chance, fearing they will marry and leave. Poverty deepens this divide.
Without school supplies, fees, or guidance, children remain excluded from society’s mainstream. Instead, they herd animals, care for siblings, or toil in fields. We must change this narrative – through stories, role models, and community engagement.

Our school is located at the YBS Centre near Sankisa, a historic Buddhist site in Uttar Pradesh – just 110 km from the Taj Mahal. Surrounded by farmland and supported by a welcoming local community, the campus spans 2.5 acres, with a hostel on an additional 3 acres. Nearby, a Cambodian Buddhist temple stands as a symbol of peace and learning.
