Together with our supporters, we are working to close this gap and create a more inclusive and hopeful future for all communities.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we purchased a 2-hectare piece of land in 2019, driven by a bold vision: to build a school and a church that would offer education and a place of worship for the local community.
In 2023 we held an auction to raise funds for the land, because while building a school holds great promise, owning the land is the essential first step toward making that vision a reality.
In Acornhoek, you are helping to build a community on 2 hectares of land, with a long-term goal of expanding to 10 hectares.
We support approximately 33,500 people with our work, 60% of whom (about 20,000) are children.
The situation in North Bali is particularly harrowing. The region suffers from a severe lack of water, lacks industry, and—unlike other parts of Bali—receives little to no income from tourism.
